The question if conserved currents can be sensibly defined in supersymmetric minisuper-spaces is investigated in this paper. The " square-root " structure associated with the constraint equations of N=1 supergravity is the motivation to contemplate this tempting idea. Our objective is to employ exclusively the differential equations derived directly from the Lorentz and supersymmetry quantum constraints. We will analyse supersymmetric closed FRW and Bianchi class–A models. Supermatter in the form of scalar supermultiplets is included in the former. It is shown here that such conserved currents cannot be adequately established except for some very simple scenarios. Otherwise, conserved currents (and consistent probability densities) may only be obtained upon the use of subsequent Wheeler-DeWitt–like equations derived from the associated supersymmetric algebra of constraints.
